Main Street Pharmacy is a fictional pharmacy. This page shows the kind of plain-language privacy notice an independent pharmacy might publish. A real pharmacy must also give patients its Notice of Privacy Practices as required by federal health privacy law.
What we collect on this website
Refill requests: your name, date of birth, mobile number, Rx numbers, pickup or delivery choice and optional notes
Transfer requests: the same details plus your current pharmacy and the medicines to move
Emails and phone calls you send us
Basic, anonymous website statistics such as pages visited
How we use it
Only to fill and deliver your prescriptions, contact you about them and run the pharmacy. We never sell your information and we never use it for outside advertising.
Your health information
Prescription details are protected health information. We share them only with the people involved in your care, such as your prescriber, your insurance plan and, for transfers, your previous pharmacy, or when the law requires it.
Text messages
If you choose text updates, we send short messages about ready prescriptions, delivery windows and refill reminders. Messages never include the name of your medicine. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.
Keeping it safe
Please do not put symptoms or other sensitive health details in website forms or email. Call us instead and a pharmacist will talk with you privately.
